The underworld boss Caesar (Hilmar Thate) has a close friendship with his cook Alfons (Dieter Pfaff). However, the buddies get into trouble when Caesar plans to have his unfaithful wife Milena (Marie Bäumer) killed. Alfons then stands in the way of the plan.
