Jennifer often feels like she doesn't fit in at school. At home, her mom and stepdad get on her nerves and just don't get her. After getting fired from her job at a fetish store, she tries her luck at a trendy men's clothing store. Even though the 49-year-old manager has doubts at first, he decides to give her a shot, and they begin to form a unique friendship. Slowly, Jennifer tweaks her look a bit, and her boss guides her in making smarter life choices. When she finds out that her friend doesn’t have much time left, she goes on a mission to track down his family and uncovers a son her friend never knew he had.
